The Benes Bunch
Welcome to our class website! This is a place for those of you who like to use it as a tool to keep up with your child's life at school. My intent it to provide students and parents with a place they can go for homework assignments, reminders of important dates, when upcoming tests may be, pictures of recent activities, and lots of link for cool math and science websites! If there is anything you ever think of that you would like to see me add to this site, please send me an email with your suggestion. This is always a work in progress! :)
We are currently learning about place value and rounding in math. In science we have been learning about weather. A math test should be coming sometime next week and a our science test should be the following week.
We have an upcoming field trip scheduled for September 16 to see School House Rock Live! I am probably more excited about this than any of my students because I grew up watching this on television. :)
As always, thank you for supporting what we are doing at school everyday. Your children are making great progress and I expect to see continued success this year!

Email is really the best way to communicate with me. Usually I have time to send an email back to you before the end of the day. Voice mail will only be checked during my planning time and I may not be able to reach you by the end of the day. If I havent' been able to reach you by phone or email I will do my best to send a note home with your child the same day you contact me. Thanks!
